About Us

Wild Soul Herb Farm

We are dedicated to the healing power of nature and the importance of sustainable practices. Our journey began on Evergreen Berry Farm, where, after years of berry farming, we transformed 6 acres of land into a thriving pollinator meadow. This vibrant ecosystem supports wildlife, birds, bees, and essential pollinators that our world relies on to grow the food we eat. From this special meadow, we harvest a variety of flowers and leaves used in our medicinal products—tinctures, teas, and healing salves.

In addition to the meadow, we've carefully planted our own herb garden, growing plants chosen for their medicinal properties. For us, this business is more than just a job—it’s a lifestyle. We incorporate these herbs into our daily lives, using the same healing medicines we create. Our mission is to bring society back to traditional ways of living with high-quality, hand-harvested herbs that are grown with care and respect.

Unlike many herbal companies, we grow the plants used in our products, ensuring a minimal carbon footprint. By choosing Wild Soul Herb Farm, you’re not only supporting a local, sustainable practice but also embracing the healing properties of nature at their most vibrant.

We hope you enjoy our products as much as we enjoy creating them.

 FAQs

  • A tincture is an extract made with alcohol, water and herb. At Wild Soul Herb Farm we like to use a double extraction method for our tinctures. This involves blending fresh herbs with alcohol at a 1:2 ratio then allowing the infusion to take place in a cool dark place. Minimum infusions are one month, we like to let our herbs infuse for as long as we can until the product becomes in demand. For the first extraction process we strain the mixture through food grade cheese cloth and fine mesh. Then with the remaining herbs we start a second extraction where we cook the herbs with water for two hours to brew a very potent tea. With this second extraction we combine it with the first, herbs and alcohol and viola, you have a hand crafted tincture. We teach skills like this in person at Evergreen Berry Farm on Sundays during the season.

  • Dried herbs can be used in many forms, we prefer an herbal tisane, also known as tea. We recommend a pinch of the herbs, maybe a tablespoon, to a cup of water. Boil your water, add your herbs, turn of the water cover and let brew 10-30 minutes, or as long as you fancy. To strain use a fine mesh strainer and enjoy at any temperature you prefer. For roots, like the dandelion root, simmer with the roots for at least 20 minutes before turning the burner off. Strain with a fine mesh strainer and enjoy.

  • All of the alcohol is certified organic cane, corn or grain 95-100%. This is not your classic liquor store vodka, this is the best kind for what we do with it.

  • An alcohol-free version of an herbal extraction. A popular choice for children, pets or anyone trying to avoid alcohol in their diet. Instead of alcohol, vegetable glycerin (also known as glycerol) is used as a solvent with water. This makes a sweeter product which can taste quite good while still holding the medicinal qualities and benefits of the herbs.

  • On Evergreen Berry Farm 6 of the acres have been dedicated to a pollinator meadow to attract more essential beings into our eco-system. Here they can find food and shelter to repopulate and thrive. From this meadow we have an abundance of herbs and flowers to harvest. Many of the products we provide are crafted from this meadow as it produces an abundance of life.

  • Wildcrafting involves foraging from the wild lands around us with a focused intention on herbal medicine. We look for the places that are untouched, clean and natural before making a harvest. Many of our items have been found in forests or even the wonderful weeds from our own gardens.

  • There is a vast variety of herbs to choose from on our website. Many of which may help exactly what you are needing support with. We always recommend you to do your own research when it comes to which herbs are best for you. We are happy to make recommendations and help educate on how to use our products. There is no one size fits all protocol for every ailment. Each individual is unique which is why seeing your local herbalist is a great idea when you need further support.
